How To: Heatless Waves/Curls

Hey people of the internet!

Okay so Nicole here again. Leanne's probably busy last week so that's why there isn't any post :/

Yeah okay so today I thought of posting a how-to post. And its not any how-to post, its a no-heat hair tutorial! xD
So basically, I tried this last Sunday and it looks really cute! Its not like crazy curls or whatever, more like a nice, sweet-girl looking one :) Trust me, it works out great! It works for straight hair AND curly hair!

∞ Recommended to try this before you go to bed ∞

THINGS YOU'LL NEED:
HAIRSPRAY

HAIR ELASTICS

COMBS/ BRUSHES
Step 1: Your hair MUST BE WET, or at least damp, or it'll never work. Make sure to shampoo and conditionize <is that even a word?.

Step 2: Find your hair parting (mine's left side, what about yours?) and split your hair to 2 even parts and comb throughly so that there won't be any tangles.

Step 3: Using hairspray, spray some on the first side of your hair you prefer first. Remember to spray both sides, front and back!

Step 4: Braid your hair REALLY TIGHTLY, or it wouldn't work out as great. You can also french braid them (if you want your whole head to be wavy instead of the top part straight). Secure with an elastic.
*note: if you have thick hair, you can braid 2 braids instead of 1 :)

Step 5: Spray some hairspray again on your braided hair (both sides!).

Step 6: Repeat Steps 3,4 and 5 again on your other side!

After you're done with all the steps above, leave them on for AT LEAST 7 hours. You can sleep on it too if you're doing this at nighttime (make sure it doesn't fall off!) Don't leave them too long (e.g 12 hours) or it'll end up looking like a lion's mane ;)

After 7 hours or so, take out the elastic and slowly unwind the braid and finger-comb through. Do this at the other side too and voilà! The perfect waves are made :)

Style it up with a cool vintage hipster headband, a bow, some cute hair clips or just keep it plain and simple :)

Results :) (example)

Nicole xoxo
