How To: Heatless Waves/Curls

Hey people of the internet!

Okay so Nicole here again. Leanne's probably busy last week so that's why there isn't any post :/

Yeah okay so today I thought of posting a how-to post. And its not any how-to post, its a no-heat hair tutorial! xD
So basically, I tried this last Sunday and it looks really cute! Its not like crazy curls or whatever, more like a nice, sweet-girl looking one :) Trust me, it works out great! It works for straight hair AND curly hair!

∞ Recommended to try this before you go to bed ∞

THINGS YOU'LL NEED:
HAIRSPRAY

HAIR ELASTICS

COMBS/ BRUSHES
Step 1: Your hair MUST BE WET, or at least damp, or it'll never work. Make sure to shampoo and conditionize <is that even a word?.

Step 2: Find your hair parting (mine's left side, what about yours?) and split your hair to 2 even parts and comb throughly so that there won't be any tangles.

Step 3: Using hairspray, spray some on the first side of your hair you prefer first. Remember to spray both sides, front and back!

Step 4: Braid your hair REALLY TIGHTLY, or it wouldn't work out as great. You can also french braid them (if you want your whole head to be wavy instead of the top part straight). Secure with an elastic.
*note: if you have thick hair, you can braid 2 braids instead of 1 :)

Step 5: Spray some hairspray again on your braided hair (both sides!).

Step 6: Repeat Steps 3,4 and 5 again on your other side!

After you're done with all the steps above, leave them on for AT LEAST 7 hours. You can sleep on it too if you're doing this at nighttime (make sure it doesn't fall off!) Don't leave them too long (e.g 12 hours) or it'll end up looking like a lion's mane ;)

After 7 hours or so, take out the elastic and slowly unwind the braid and finger-comb through. Do this at the other side too and voilĂ ! The perfect waves are made :)

Style it up with a cool vintage hipster headband, a bow, some cute hair clips or just keep it plain and simple :)

No Cute Guys in my school?!?

^
a perfect example of what I mean

I bet everyone's heard of tumblr.com right? And when you search "tumblr boys" on Google Images and compare the boys to boys from your school, it'll make perfect sense.

I mean, who wouldn't (especially girls) drool over such good looking people?

Okay so I live in Malaysia (somewhere over the rainbow) with all the not-so-good looking guys while God decides to put ALL the good looking guys in the United States, UK, Canada or whatever Western Countries.

*note: if this offended you or anything, TOO BAD.

I have a few confessions to make;
Confession #1: I kinda have a weird obsession with European guys and I don't really find any Asian guys attractive ._.
Confession #2: If i do see an attractive European guy walking around the mall or supermarket or whatever, I'll just look at them and yeah ._.
Confession #3: I think guys with beanies or snapbacks are really cute
Confession #4: brown hair + blue eyes = PERFECTION

Well now I'm studying in this international school and I'm kinda bummed because all students there are Asians. I'm jealous of schools that have European guys. LOL really. Like whenever I go to my cousin's house and pass by an international school, there'll definitely, 100%, white boys there skateboarding or whatever, and we will just look at them. Hahaa.

Yeah so anyways, please enjoy these pictures I'm gonna show you.

Blog at Midnight

Hello people of the internet!

Okay so, welcome to our blog!

Created by Leanne and Nicole, 1:35a.m. on the 31st of March.

So basically, we are just going to post random things like the latest trend, or celebrities, or fashion, or the latest thing that's going on or whatever. Totally randommmmm.
Or IF anyone actually follows our blog, and have any questions or whatsoever, email us! Our email address is oldpeoplearesocute@gmail.com :) And yes, its weird. And yes, we got it from a Connor Franta quote.
Well, since we just created this blog, we probably will post about once a week alternatively? LOL, I don't know.

So now we're just going to give a short introduction of ourselves.
Leanne and I are cousins, but not really cousins (if that make sense). We have a 2-year gap, but we're pretty close. :D She's a shoe size 7 and I'm a 5. She's taller than me even if shes younger. We love music, enjoy watching movies (especially chick flicks ;) ), traveling, reading, wasting time etc. :p

Yeah so that's kind of like our intro.

We will start posting next week!

xoxo
